Xandra Ibarra is a community organizer and performance artist raised on the Juarez/El Paso border. She has organized in communities of color for 10 years working to resist violence and injustices committed against and within these communities.
She is a Chicana Queer Femme interested in sexuality, ethnic sexual representation, sex work, gender, culture and performance art.
She is currently on the national steering committee of INCITE! Women of Color Against Violence and founded KALEIDOSCOPE, The First Annual People of Color Cabaret Show in the US.
Xandra has been published and featured as a performance artist and as a community organizer in books, academic journals, magazines.
