Mari Moore

J. Marchelle "Mari" Moore is a classic Pisces - a dancer, choreographer, performer, and healer, who has over 30 years of dancing in her blood. Born and raised in Michigan, she was trained in classical ballet as a member of the Grand Rapids Ballet. She danced with Impact Dance Theatre at the University of Michigan, also functioning as producer and director.

Upon arriving in Seattle in 1997, she hooked up with Everett Dance Theatre and continues there as a dancer and teacher in ballet and lyrical, a choreographer, costumer, and all-around visionary. She has also been seen performing at Little Red Studio and the Oracle Gatherings.

Graduating from the University of Michigan led to more schooling to be a nurse. She is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI), is trained in Reiki level II, and is blessed to use her holistic skills on babies in her job as a certified RN in a Newborn Intensive Care Unit.

Other current explorations include radical self-reliance, the union of sexuality and spirituality, ongoing study in a teacher development program in Tai Chi and Qigong at Embrace the Moon, the union of Western, Eastern, and energetic medicine, and a ever-expanding desire to share movement as a healing modality.
