Amy Conant

Amy Conant is thrilled to be a part of A Room of Our Own. Local credits include The Skin of Our Teeth, directed by Bartlett Sher (Intiman Theatre), Macha Monkey's We Are Not These Hands (Theatre Off Jackson) and Girls!, Scab, W(h)acked and Notorious Women (Live Girls! Theater).

She moved to Seattle from New York where she was a member of the Hypothetical Theatre Company, performing in many new works such as Melanie Marnich's The Sparrow Project, Frank Basloe's Linked and Ross M. Berger's Kryptonite City. In New York she studied improvisation at the People's Improv Theatre. She also traveled across Europe where she worked at Shakespeare's Globe Education Center in London and played Viola in Twelfth Night at Budapest's Shakespeare Festival.

She holds a B.F.A. in Theatre from Texas Christian University.
